Negotiator
The Negotiator is a communication platform for biobank managers and researchers to specify and request requests for human biospecimens and related data. It greatly simplifies this process, in particular by allowing 'negotiation' between more than two parties – for example, when a request is made to several biobanks. The Negotiator is a joint development of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the European Infrastructure BBMRI-ERIC.
The Negotiator works in combination with both the Sample Locator and the Directory – biobank managers can register themselves as contact persons for both tools in the Negotiator. Below you will find instructions on how to register as a biobank contact as well as answers to frequently asked questions on the use of the Negotiator.
