A total of 23 representatives of the German Biobank Alliance (GBA) took part in the two workshops on cost models for biobanks held in July and October.

The GBA concept shows how the requirements of data protection, data security and ethical-social concerns as well as the requirements of the GDPR are met.

With the help of the developed search, scientists will in future be able to search online for biomaterial samples and related data across biobanks.
